Foster change in the lives of individuals and their families through integrated, personal and family development.
Mission
To minister to those individuals and families, who are hurting, lost and leading unproductive lives through group and individual instruction, and coaching; especially those non-violent, misdemeanor youth offenders who are or have been caught up in the judicial system.
The City of Refuge Life Center, Inc. ("COR Life") is a registered LA non-profit corporation in good standing. As the mission indicates we seek to improve lives and better communities by ministering to individuals and families. We have an operation launch date of July 1; currently we are seeking funding, partnerships, and Board Members. In addition, we are finalizing curricula, recruiting staff, and securing a facility.
COR Life Primary Focus: Youth Transformation
Help, guide, foster young people 18 -24 to live successful lives with positive values and be assets to their community. Today's Youth. Tomorrow's Leaders.
COR Life Secondary Focus: Social advocacy/Justice for Youth
Advocate for youthful offenders' rights, proper court venue and ensure fair, just sentencing for those convicted of a crime, misdemeanor and non-violent offenses only.
Target Audience:
High School graduates not working or working low paying jobs; High School drop-outs; Youthful Offenders in Slidell.
