Gulf South Leadership Institute, NOLA

Gulf South Leadership Institute is a non-profit organization providing career and workforce readiness initiatives for youth as well as leadership guidance and education for ministries, nonprofits, businesses and educational organizations within The Greater New Orleans Area and beyond.

Programs and services provided by the Institute are inspired by the premise that community development happens in the context of people development, and we believe that as we train one leader at a time we add quality to the communities around us. Healthy, creative, and safe communities are a result of innovative, healthy, and progressive leadership and for this reason the team at Gulf South Leadership Institute highly prioritizes encouraging and developing such leadership.

GSLI provides various training and development opportunities for churches, faith-based organizations, non-profit organizations, businesses, and educational institutions within the Greater New Orleans Area. 

Healthy, progressive and thriving communities are built upon innovative and progressive leadership. The quality of the leadership base for every community determines the quality of life within that community. Gulf South Leadership Institute’s approach to leadership development is essentially an approach to community development. The approach is simply that we build the leadership base one leader at a time by providing resources for: 

• Ministry Leadership,
• Oganizational Leadership, and
• Youth Development.
